HOW THE ADVERTISEMENT EFFECT TO CONSUMER BEHAVIOUR ?

IMPORTANT DAY : MEPANDES / METATAH (TOOTH FILLING)

Important day. What is important day in your opinion ? A day that means a lot to you ? For me every day is important. “ Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift”.

                I want to share one of my important day, which was held on 18^th – 19^th of December 2015. That was a big ceremony held for me, but I did it with my brother and cousins too. The ceremony called as Mepandes / Metatah or tooth filling is one of the religious ceremonies that must be done by the Balinese Hindus (Hindu Dharma) adherent. Metatah is a ceremony to smooth six (6) upper teeth of teenager (or for those who have reached puberty) by using the tight-fisted. This is a ceremony to mark a teenager who has grown up into an adult.

                This tooth filling ceremony is a must for parents to be hold for their children, because this is one of the most important ceremonies that based on Hindu’s belief. This ceremony is a symbol to eliminate six (6) human natures that called as sad ripu. Those six human natures are :

1. Kama : uncontrollable desire
2. Loba : greed
3. Krodha : unmanageable anger
4.  Mada : intoxication that brings dark thoughts
5. Moha : confusion that lead to someone unable to finish task perfectly
6.  Matsarya : jealously that caused hostility

The ceremony has a various sequence events, like you are not allowed to go out of the house, you will be bathed and fed by your parent, scrubbed by your family, and other else. At that day I felt special and happy, because my parent finished their task. After that day, I must realize that I am not a kid or teenager anymore, no more childish ! I should act and think wisely.

CITY PROBLEMS : LOMBOK

Problem in My Hometown

A good economics growth and technology advances in a city does not reflect a prosperous of society, and every city has their own problems. Mataram is my hometown and Mataram is the capital city of Lombok island. Now I want to discuss about the problems in Lombok.

First, familiarize the tourism places. Lombok has so many tourism place but not many peoples does not know Lombok. For example, Gili Trawangan. Gili Trawangan is the most popular tourism destination in Lombok, but they think that Gili Trawangan owned by Bali. I was read an article that said “Gili Trawangan, Bali” not “Gili Trawangan, Lombok”. The government and society are taking a big part of this case. Social media has the big effect in this. So, government can make an advertisement like a short video to visit Lombok and share through the social media. And for the society, they can explore the tourism place or find a new place and share their story through the social media. It is can promote the place indirectly.

Second  human resources. In Mataram there is a lot of unemployed peoples especially outskirt of the Mataram city. Sometimes they do not have a job because of their last education can not help them to get a job. So, they will do anything to get money or something that can make money. Even it is bad thing. For example, in central Lombok there is a lot cases of thefts. A few days ago the government put CCTV in several place that prone of thefts. I think it is only help the government to catch the doer, not to change their habit. Government can help them by giving a scholarship or donation in education, giving donation to make a small business, and emphasize the rules and regulation for perpetrators.

City problems is our responsibility, some cases are government responsibility. The development of a city affected by the society too. Hope this article can inspire the society to be more caring about their city and the government can be more listening to their society. I am sure that Mataram would be a big city in a few years.

RAJENDRA S.P : YOUNG and AGILE RACER

Rajendra S.P : Young and Agile Racer

Rajendra S.P is a motoprix racer. He is quite popular with people in the racing environment in Mataram and Yogyakarta. He can be know easily because his small body that different from the other racers.

Rajendra has been racing since he was 12 with his brother. His parent very support him and he is not afraid even what he was doing is endanger him. Physical strength is the key and so he always practice in circuit at least 3 times a week, every morning he is push up and run and sometime he do additional physical exercise on Sunday. On 2014 he moved to Yogyakarta and joined the D-45 Road Racing Academy to improve his skill. With his young age, does not mean that he can not win the competition. He already won a lot. In Mataram at MP 5 (120 cc) he got the 2^nd, 5^th, and 6^th podiums, at MP 6 (110 cc) he got the 1^st, 2^nd, and 4^th, podiums. And in Yogya so, at MP 5 he got the 3^rd podiums 4 times and at MP 6 he got the 1^st, 2^nd podiums.

 Rajendra has two characteristics that have helped make him a great racer. First, he is discipline. He never miss his practices schedule and focus to on his willpower to be greater and greater. Second, he is a never give up person. Being a racer is can not be separated with an accident. When he practiced for national competition in Sentul He had an accident that severe enough and made him in a coma about a week. But that is not stop him to be good racer, after break for 2 moths he joined a competition in Solo. Because of these two important characteristics, Rajendra S.P is able to be great racer like his idol Valentino Rossi.

Next Public Relation

Her name is Haifa Syah Kilah, she usually called Haifa. she is President university student majoring in Business administration. She is extrovert, sensitive and imaginary. Being a public relation is not easy. Therefore, public relation would be match with her, because she has the characteristics being a public relation.

First of all, Haifa is extrovert. She is likes to talk, and she can easily mingle with everyone. That is the most public relation need, being talk active. Because public relation is all about talking and can talk or share the material with everyone and everywhere, she already has it. So she will not find any difficulties

She is like to imagination, by imagination something we can increase our memory. Memory is important for public relation. Because they should remember all the material that they will tell to people. And the material can be understandable by how she bring it.

She is sensitive. Only some peoples has this kind of personality and she is so lucky to has it. Because of that she can easily know other feelings well and this is the key to make the situation be enjoyable. For the example when the public relation know that the audiences are bored they will change how the tell the material to make the audience not bored anymore.

THREE THING I LIKES TO DO

Three Things I Likes to Do

Of course all of you have things likes to do. Now I want to share mine. The first is cooking, I think it is because of my mom. She is good at cooking, and for me cooking is challenging because we should mix some ingredients to a delicious food.

The second is traveling, who does not like traveling ?  By traveling we can know the new places and reduce our stress. It is happy to enjoy the nature that God gave. No need to go to far places, the near one is fine as we can enjoy it.

The third is swimming.  I like to play with water, it is so fresh and can make us taller. But I rather swim in swimming pool than beach. My mom attune me to swim from kid. I usually swim one a week or in the spare time.
